Common questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes - 5 days free on both plans. Add a card at signup; you won't be charged until the trial ends.
What are Field kit, Front desk and Shop floor?
They're starting workspaces. A short signup quiz asks how you sell and how customers reach you - then URBHQ opens the modules that match. You can customise or add more anytime in Settings.
Is URBHQ only for trades?
No. URBHQ is a headquarters for any UK business - salons, cafés, clinics, shops, agencies and trades. Signup opens Field kit, Front desk or Shop floor so you start with the desks you actually use. Trades are welcome; they’re not the only ones.
What's included vs optional modules?
Both plans include the full HQ - every desk. Sole trader is £39/month for one person; Team is £109/month for 5 people (extra seats £10/month). Signup opens a focused workspace so the app stays easy; you turn more desks on in Settings, no extra charge.
I already pay £20 or £50 - do I have to move?
No. If you signed up on the old rates, you stay on them. New signups are on the current Sole and Team list prices.
Can I bill clients automatically for recurring visits?
Yes - set a frequency and price per visit once, and URBHQ invoices on schedule without a quote each time.
Can my staff log in separately?
On Team plans, each employee gets their own login. When you say you have staff at signup we suggest Team ops (HR + roster); you can also enable assets and fleet checkouts.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. URBHQ is mobile-first - updates from the van, counter or office on one login.
Do I need Xero?
No. URBHQ handles quote-to-cash internally. Xero integration is planned - export is available today.
What if I need more than 10 users?
Use our contact form for a custom quote - we'll tailor pricing for larger teams and multi-site setups.
Can I export everything?
Yes. Full import/export for customers, quotes, jobs, invoices, expenses and HR records.
